Syadai, could still be a bit more pitiful

Syadai is a young woman from Kolydia. She was exiled from her homeland after having constantly failed to prove herself to be an appropriate member of a very strict and conventional society. As a daughter of middle-class parents, she was expected to learn some practical skills such as household chores, but being very clumsy, Syadai never really learnt anything. However, she succeeded well in her theoretical studies, but her intelligence was never particularly appreciated.

Having been banished, she left for Candara, equipped with very little property and no money and with no ability to defend herself. Having spent years secretly reading obscene magical books she had got from travellers who had passed her homeland, she had managed to learn a few fire spells - which she couldn't use properly without burning her own fingers. However, those spells proved at least remotely helpful.

She is relatively silent and humble, equipped with a remarkably bad self-confidence. She's very kind and just, peace-loving and afraid of angering people. However, because of her clumsiness, tendency to fail and lack of practical talents, she's particularly good at annoying others.
